No Going Back Now......

Its been awhile since my last post, sorry... I would like to thank everyone for all the supportive words and love. It was hard to not feel a little vulnerable after sharing news like this but you ladies sure made me feel better.

Since my last post...

I have started my period (good thing) 12/1

Started my BCP on day 3 (I don't know why you go on birth control for the first couple weeks. They have done studies that it helps with the sucess rate.) I really do hate BCP's. I'm hungry all the time and my boobs have grown three sizes. Ross loves it :) 12/3-12/23

Went to an injection training class with Ross. I'm sure like a lot of you.... I HATE needles. The first couple medications are Subcutaneous Injections which I do in my stomach by myself. At first when she told us that I was like UHHHHH, not happening. The last two medications are intramuscular injections and that goes in you upper butt area and that is Ross' job:). The needle I inject myself with is probably the size of my finger nail ..pretty small. Still freaked out but not as bad as the needle Ross gets to inject which is the size of my pinky. So after they go over everything we head back to the room to practice. I went first. I had to bunch up my fat together on my stomach and inject the needle....Not bad. I couldn't even feel it. I'm sure after doing three shots right after each other its going to start getting sore, and bruised. Ok, Ross' turn....I turn over and lay down on my stomach and look back at Ross and he has a huge smile on his face and says "I've been waiting to stab you with something for the last 12 years". You know he always knows what to say at the right moment. Now this one hurt a little bit more but all in all, good experience. 12/7

Signed papers. 12/8

Had my baseline ultrasound to make sure I was cleared to start IVF. Passed, everything looked PERFECT. 12/8

Order Medication (will receive that tomorrow) 12/12

Other things I've been doing is staying away from alcohol, caffiene, eating alot of organics, doing a little meditation yoga, acupuncture, got a massage, and seeing a chiropractor. I know its alot but I've been very relaxed and not stressed. I still have my freak out moments but I think that just comes with a lot of free time to think.

Next...I start my Lupron shots next Monday the 19th. I will keep you posted with that.
